Mental health training programs attempt to educate people about prevalent mental health issues while also reducing the stigma associated with them. People learn to recognize the symptoms of cyberbullying, trauma, PTSD, depression/anxiety, and excessive stress in themselves and others. Because mental health diseases are imperceptible, a person may appear healthy despite suffering. Training assists people in recognizing mental discomfort in others and in themselves, and it is hoped that this drives more people to seek treatment.
